Romanian President Decorates Russian Writer Solzhenitsyn Posthumously

Solzhenitsyn, Nobel Prize winner, was decorated for his courage and dignity and his contribution to world literature, the president’s office said in a statement.

Solzhenitsyn, who died Sunday night at age 89, was buried Wednesday at Moscow‘s historic Donskoy Monastery.
