Romanian Communications Minister Valerian Vreme said Saturday that, in the next two years, the ministry will invest in the technological and informational development of state-owned postal company Posta Romana.

Vreme said that, in 2013, postal services will be liberalized and the company, which has over 35,000 employees, must have „a strong position on the market”.

Vreme stressed the ministry does not plan to sell its 75% stake in Posta Romana, adding that investment fund Fondul Proprietatea, which owns 25% of the company, might sell its stake to a private company.
