According to hydrologists, precipitation expected in the upcoming 24 hours will cause several rivers in the central part of the country to overflow their banks.

The rivers under flood alert are Mures, Olt, Bistrita, Trotus, Putna, Ramnicu Sarat an Buzau and their tributaries.
