Romania’s chief anticorruption prosecutor, Daniel Morar, was summoned by the High Council of Magistrates for a meeting discussing the Council’s report on the case.

The Council could not establish who multiplied the CD containing the incriminating footage, which was aired by the public television network. Morar denied at that time that the footage was leaked from prosecutors and did not confirm the images were authentic.

The agriculture minister resigned and is currently awaiting trial.
