Tariceanu said in a speech in Parliament Wednesday that floods damaged nearly 6,000 homes, which need major repairs and even reconstruction, and over 1,200 kilometers of roads.

He added social aid, worth a total 9.5 million lei (EUR1=RON3.5570), already reached 90% of the people in need and all construction materials, worth RON57 million, will be delivered by September 15.
