David said that, according to technical evaluations, of the total number of 5,959 homes damaged, 3,900 require repairs, 203 homes need consolidation, and 1,492 need to be completely rebuilt.
The official said the ministry will have a comprehensive evaluation of damages next week, and adequate measures could be taken.
He added 21,190 people suffered losses in the floods, and representatives of the Labor Ministry are conducting social investigations in these cases.
The briefing held by David, after the videoconference with the prefects, was attended by doctor Raed Arafat, deputy secretary of state within the Ministry of Health, and labor minister Paul Pacuraru.
