The Romanian Parliament’s budget and finance committees on Saturday approved the Foreign Affairs Ministry’s 2011 budget in the amount of 530,126 thousand lei (EUR1=RON4.2899).

Lawmakers rejected the amendments increasing the ministry’s budget for next year.

The ministry’s 2011 budget was approved in the absence of social democrat lawmakers who left the meeting displeased the Finance Ministry cut the Senate’s budget.
