Party spokesman Cristian Diaconescu said Monday the party’s standing office decided to submit a simple motion on agriculture this week. He added social democrats did not discuss the motion on healthcare they planned to submit with the Chamber of Deputies.

Diaconescu also reiterated the social democrats’ intention to call for a no-confidence motion unless the government accepts to move up pension hikes and scraps plans to create a vertically integrated state-owned power holding.
