Trombetta Replaces Andone At CFR Cluj

Trombetta, 45, is to sign a two-year contract in the upcoming days, Paszkany said.

Trombetta joined CFR Cluj in June, as assistant to coach Andone. Prior to arriving at Cluj, Trombetta had been working as an assistant coach at Udinese Calcio following similar positions at SSC Napoli, AC Perugia, Bologna FC and Ancona Calcio.

CFR Cluj were drawn in UEFA Champions League’s Group A, along Chelsea FC, FC Girondins de Bordeaux and AS Roma. Their first match in the group is set for Sept. 16, against AS Roma.
