Romanian banks are considering the possibility to take additional security measures, after the armed robbery of a bank in W Romania, said Romanian Banks Association president Radu Gratian Ghetea.

"The banking community is preoccupied with bank security, and the fact that there have not been many similar incidents so far indicates this tendency. Additional measures are never a bad thing. I am convinced that starting (Friday) banks are analyzing whether they need additional security," Ghetea told MEDIAFAX Saturday.
 
Two people with guns and ski masks entered a bank in western Romanian city Cluj, pistol-whipped the guard and struck a cashier, making away with the equivalent of some EUR70,000.
