More than 1.600 new cases of Covid and 47 deaths, reported in the last 24 hours in Romania

According to GCS, until Monday, 781.329 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus have been confirmed in Romania. 725.526 patients have been declared cured.

In the last 24 hours, 1.634 new cases of people infected with SARS-CoV-2 have been registered, these being cases that had not previously had a positive test. Apart from the newly confirmed cases, following the retesting of patients who were already positive, 307 people were reconfirmed as positive.

By Monday, 19.894 people diagnosed with SARS-CoV-2 infection have died.

In the last 24 hours, 47 deaths have been reported (31 men and 16 women), of some patients infected with the new coronavirus, hospitalized in Alba, Arad, Bacău, Botoşani, Călăraşi, Caraş-Severin, Cluj, Hunedoara, Maramureş, Olt, Sibiu, Timiş, Vâlcea and Bucharest.
