The Centennial meeting is scheduled to start with a speech by President Klaus Iohannis, despite the fact that the head of state announced that he will be on a foreign visit to France on November 27 and 28.

Among the special guests invited to the solemn meeting will be Her Majesty Margareta, Custodian of the Crown of Romania – who will also hold a speech in front of the combined chambers –, HRH Prince Radu, former Presidents Ion Iliescu, Emil Constantinescu and Traian Basescu, the chairmen of the Supreme Court, Court of Accounts and of the Romanian Academy, the Ombudsman, the Governor of the Bank of Romania and the Patriarch of the Orthodox Church of Romania.

President Klaus Iohannis announced earlier in the day a visit to France, on November 27 and 28, to mark ten years since the Strategic Partnership between the two countries was signed and to celebrate the Great Union of 1918.
