Romania’s Rompetrol Raises Gas Pump Prices By RON0.07/Liter

Romania’s second-largest oil company Rompetrol, owned by Kazakhstan's KazMunaiGaz, rose Friday its gasoline pump prices by 0.07 lei (EUR1=RON4.2950) per liter, keeping the same price for diesel oil, the company said in a statement.

Thus, as of Friday, Rompetrol’s Efix 95 costs RON3.49 per liter, while one liter of Alto 101 can be bought with RON4.14.
 
Rompetrol’s main rivals on the local market, Petrom and Lukoil, rose Thursday their gasoline pump prices with the same RON0.07 per liter, keeping the diesel oil at the same tariff.
 
The prices of fuel sold in the Rompetrol Downstream gas stations may vary by +/- 5%, compared with the reference prices, Rompetrol said.
 
KazMunaiGaz owns a 75% stake in Rompetrol.
