Romanian Democrat Liberals To Widen Their Governing Agenda

The democrat liberal nominee for the position of prime minister, Theodor Stolojan, said Saturday that the party would have to include in the governing agenda elements from the presentation made by president Traian Basescu.

"Those are the elements that we will have to evaluate and some of them are not in the governing agenda. We will have to make room for them," Stolojan said in Cluj-Napoca, upon presenting the infrastructure component of the democrat liberals’ governing agenda.

Stolojan vowed that, if the democrat liberals come into power and he becomes prime minister, the first thing he will do is to allocate funding for the transport infrastructure.

According to him, the democrat liberal commitment is to complete 836 kilometers of motorway.
