Romanian Father’s Day, Mother’s Day Law Submitted To Parliament

Romanian democrat liberal MP Mircia Giurgiu told MEDIAFAX he has submitted in the Chamber of Deputies the draft law "instating Father’s Day and Mother’s Day."

Giurgiu proposed that the first Sunday of May be dubbed "Father’s Day", and the second Sunday of May – “Mother’s Day”.
 
The draft document also mentions that the Government, local public authorities and central authorities will take all measures necessary to mark these events.
 
According to Parliament procedures, the draft law will be analyzed by the Parliament commissions and then in a plenary meeting of the Chamber.
