For airports found under the authority of the county councils in Arad, Bacau, Bihor, Cluj, Dolj, Iasi, Maramures, Mures, Satu-Mare, Suceava and Tulcea, the funds, worth a total RON35.164 million, will come from the local budgets of the counties.
Wednesday, the security director within International Airport "Aurel Vlaicu" was replaced, and the contract with the company handling security was terminated, after two journalists from Romanian weekly newspaper “Academia Catavencu” entered the premises of the airport unchecked, and they even planted a toy “bomb” on an airplane.
