Nicolaescu said the new list of compensated medicine is already on the Ministry of Health website, it is currently subject to approval procedures, and it will soon enter government debate, but for technical reasons, the list might become effective on July 15, not July 1.
He explained this postponement through the desire to avoid blocking, indicating that he held several talks with doctors and pharmacists, and they all pointed to the same problem.
"On July 1, most people go to doctors for prescriptions or to drug stores," the minister said.
He added that if the list of medicine is introduced at the same time, the issue of these prescriptions would be completely blocked, for three or four days, firstly at doctors, who need to issue prescriptions in accordance with the new medicine catalogs, and then pharmacists need to make the inventories and introduce the new prices.
