Austria’s Voestalpine Scraps Plans To Secure Land In Romania

Austrian steelmaker Voestalpine on Thursday said it has abandoned plans to secure a potential site in Romania’s southeast city of Constanta in view of an estimated EUR5 billion investment to build a steel mill in the Black Sea area.
