Romanian Subway Unionists Call Off Strike

Employees of Romania’s state-owned subway company Metrorex called off a full-blown strike planned for Thursday after the Government approved the company’s 2010 budget and included certain wage bonuses in base salaries, the Transport Ministry said in a press release Wednesday.
