The leu opened at RON4.2360/RON4.24 against the euro, slightly higher from Tuesday’s closing value, and touched an early low at RON4.2380/RON4.2420 against the euro.

At around GMT10:00, the leu was trading at RON4.2330/RON 4.2360 against the euro.

On the money market Wednesday, overnight rates were at 9.71%-10.21% a year.

The central bank computed a daily indicative at RON4.2329 against the euro, the highest in the last two months and two days, and RON3.2048 against the US dollar.
