Steaua, Galatasaray End In 2-2 Draw In Champions League Qualifiers

Romania’s Steaua Bucharest ended in a 2-2 draw against Turkey’s Galatasaray in Istanbul Wednesday, in the third qualifying round of European Champions League.

Steaua’s Dayro Moreno scored the first goal as early as the fourth minute, and Banel Nicolita doubled the Romanian team’s lead in minute 13.

Galatasaray recovered and salvaged a home draw, as Shabani Nonda scored in minutes 19 and 47.

The return match is scheduled for August 27 in Bucharest.
