Two Dead, Six Severely Injured In Car Crash E Romania

Two young men died and other six people were severely injured Sunday night in an accident involving a car and a passenger minibus in Costesti village, in Romania’s eastern county of Vaslui.

The local police inspectorate said the car driver got into the opposite lane and crashed into a minibus registered in the Republic of Moldova.

The violent impact instantly killed 19-year old driver Bogdan Popa and 20-year old front passenger Ciprian Panainte and severely injured other six people – the third car passenger and five minibus passengers, who were rushed to the local emergency hospital in critical condition.

The preliminary report of the local police inspectorate indicates the young car driver, who was heading for Vaslui, did not pay enough attention while engaged in traffic.
