The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced Thursday the recall of Romania’s consuls general in São Paulo, Nantes, and Frankfurt am Main. The three diplomats are accused of failing to fulfill their duty to open new Romanian consulates general.

Romanian Govt Decides To Recall Five Consuls

The Romanian government approved a decision recalling Romania’s consul in Turin, Italy, Iulia Buje, who said in February that Italian interior minister Roberto Maroni called the consular offices several times in 1998-2000 to intervene in favor of Romanians working illegally.
