Police officers in Sibiu have launched an investigation after the Sibiu County Electoral Bureau (BEJ) reported that several residents received letters urging them to vote for George Simion.

Romanian President Traian Basescu on Monday said he did not have a chance yet to open the letters sent by Chamber Speaker Bogdan Olteanu, adding he will read them after November 26.
