 An amendment submitted by PSD and adopted in the specialized committees of Parliament provides for the granting of one-off aid for military pensioners who have pensions of less than 3,000 lei. According to the approved form, the financial support would be granted in two installments.

Nearly 2,000 former military staff are marching Tuesday from the Military Academy in Romania’s capital Bucharest to the Government’s headquarters, in protest to the recalculation of their pensions and new labor legislation.
