PRAID SALT MINE

Praid Salt Mine has been collapsing gradually for several days, an evolution that could last weeks or even months and that avoids a sudden collapse that would cause a catastrophe, the Minister of Economy announced.

The National Salt Company SA announces the collapse of the underground dam at the Praid Salt Mine, as a result of hydrometeorological phenomena. Following the increase in the flow of the Corund stream, the activity of the Telegdy mine has been compromised.
