Romania BT Securities Ranks 1st In Mar Among Stock Exch Brokers

Romanian brokerage company BT Securities, a unit of blue-chip issuer Banca Transilvania (TLV.RO), ranked first in March in the brokers' classification on the Bucharest Stock Exchange, or BVB, with 103.4 million lei (EUR1=RON4.2348) worth of transactions, and a 13.13% market share.

In the first quarter, BT Securities reported RON195.3 million worth of transactions.

KBC Securities Romania ranked second in March, with RON91.7 million worth of transactions and a 11.65% market share. Hence, it ranked first in the first quarter, with RON206.4 million transactions and 10.21% market share.

Romania’s ING Bank brokerage unit ranked third in March, with RON72.8 million transactions and 9.24% market share. In the first quarter, it posted a 8.96% market share, at RON171.4 million transactions.

Raiffeisen Capital&Investment reported RON34.4 million transactions in March, and RON158 million transactions in the first quarter.
