Iordache said the plane was flying from Paris and was heading to Sigapore, but due to a medical problem on board it had to make an emergency landing on the Henri Coanda airport.

Iordache said a 85-year-old passenger suffered a heart attack and the man was pronounced dead after the plane landed.

Passengers spent the night in the business terminal of the Henri Coanda airport and were afterwards taken to hotels and will most likely be rerouted.
