Blaze Kills Four Romanians In Spain

The mayor’s office in Spanish locality Miranda de Ebro (Burgos province) decreed three days of mourning when a fire occurring Thursday in a home resulted in the death of four Romanians, Europa Press informed online.

Mayor Fernando Campo said fire crews and a police unit are investigating the causes of the blaze.
 
According to authorities, the victims are Romanians and have several relatives in the same locality.
 
The blaze killed four people, including a boy and a girl aged one and respectively three. In addition, victims include a 20-year old girl and another woman. One of the victims was the boy’s mother and the other woman was her sister-in-law.
 
The children’s father was also severely injured and is critical in the hospital, with burns on almost 50% of his body.
 
Another young man, aged 26, was taken to Burgos by helicopter, in critical condition.
