The pastry shop is owned by a Turkish businessman and has been selling, for a few days, beside its regular cherry Danishes, apple strudels and sesame sprinkled bagels, the “Obama” croissant, which is dipped in chocolate.

"We come up with new products quite often. We’ve come up with this one just after the U.S. presidential election. It contains a lot of rum flavored chocolate and we think it will be hit, considering it bears the American president’s name,” shop manager Cornelia Ali told MEDIAFAX.
