Clients of Romania’s Raiffeisen Bank were targeted by a phishing attack Monday, as they received an e-mail asking them to introduce their user codes on a website, so that the online service can be unlocked.

"For your security and to avoid losing data, the unlocking of the Raiffeisen Online account will be performed from the form attached to the emails," says the message sent to potential bank clients.
 
Last yearm, Raiffeisen Bank was the bank targeted by most phishing attacks in Romania, with 60%, followed by BCR (13%), BRD (10%), Piraeus Bank (8.5%) and Banca Transilvania (8.5%), according to computer security company BitDefender.
