Romanian Fighter Morosanu Defeats Gary Goodridge

Romanian fighter Catalin Morosanu defeated Canadian Gary Goodridge Friday evening in the Local Kombat gala held in central Romanian city Ploiesti. The bout counted for the intercontinental WKN title.

Goodridge abandoned the fight in the third round.

Morosanu said his victory against the Canadian will open the way for him towards the world title. "I want to challenge Leko. I am a bit upset by the public’s reaction. It is not my fault the opponent couldn‘t do more. I would have wanted an all out fight, to offer a show to the people in the crowd. In the next fight I hope to face a worthy opponent," Morosanu said.
