Romania Feb Overdue Loans Up 5.3% MM To RON9.24B

Romanian overdue non-government loans rose 5.34% on the month to 9.24 billion lei (EUR1=RON4.0716) in February, central bank data showed Wednesday.

The overdue loans amounted to 4.6% of the total private lending in February, which stood at RON200 billion.

In January, the late loans were at RON8.77 billion, the data showed.

Overdue loans in Romanian lei rose almost 5% on the month to RON4.8 billion In February, while late loans in foreign currencies advanced 5.7% to RON4.4 billion.
