Romanian Police Squads Track Down Serial Rapist

Bucharest’s police squads managed to catch serial rapist Ionut Catalin Stan, 23, following an investigation which revealed the rapes he committed and the fact that he had been released from prison before serving his sentence for robbery.

Actually, Stan had nearly two more years to spend in prison.
Police officer Christian Ciocan, spokesperson of the Romanian General Police Department,   told MEDIAFAX Tuesday that police squads started investigations after they received many complaints from Stan’s victims.
Stan was detained and is being heard at the headquarters of the Bucharest’s Police Department.
