The proposition amending Law no. 482/2006, which regulates the provision of trousseaus for newborns, stipulates that the equivalent value of a newborn's trousseau, which includes clothes and care products worth RON150, will be granted free of charge for each and every newborn baby.
The amendment adopted Monday also sets that the RON150 amount is granted only once by the local public authorities upon the release of the baby's birth certificate and based on justifying papers meant to certify the purchase of the trousseau.
The Senate is the first Chamber notified on the matter.
