The Romanian Air Force is starting a new Air Policing mission on Tuesday. One hundred soldiers and six F-16 Fighting Falcon fighter jets have been deployed to Lithuania.

Romania beat Lithuania 1-0 Saturday evening in Marijampole in the World Cup Qualifying Group 7, a first victory for the country’s national team with coach Razvan Lucescu on the bench.
