Schwartzenberg, owner of Neocity Group, has an estimated fortune of EUR45-50 million according to the most recent edition of the Top 300 Capital ranking. Schwartzenberg's main business is in real estate, the paper said.

The Bucharest Court ruled Friday that Vintu and his employee, Ion Ilie Cezar, accused of blackmailing the manager of TV station Realitatea Media, Sebastian Ghita, will be placed under 29-day preventive arrest.

According to Evenimentul Zilei, before being placed under arrest, Vintu said he has a surprise for President Traian Basescu, whom he accused of orchestrating his arrest. People in Vintu's entourage reportedly told the paper the "surprise" could be an announcement to be made Monday after the TV group's shareholders' meeting in Vienna.
