Polls Closed For Romanian Expats
The last seven polling stations for Romania’s presidential election set up in Los Angeles, Portland, Seattle, San Francisco, Sacramento, Orange County and Las Vegas, on the west coast of the United States, closed Monday morning at GMT0500, Romania’s Foreign Affairs Ministry said.

University student Raluca Popa was the last Romanian citizen to vote in the second round of presidential elections. Popa voted at polling station no. 207 set up at the Consulate General of Romania in Los Angeles.
Over 147,600 Romanians cast ballots at the 294 polling stations abroad until GMT0500, according to information provided by the heads of polling stations.
Over 90,000 Romanians abroad cast ballots in the first round of presidential elections held on November 22.
