Romania Ranked 39th In World’s Best Countries Top – Newsweek

Romania is ranked 39th in a top of the world’s best countries by American magazine Newsweek, below every other European Union member states.

The Newsweek study includes several fields, such as health, education, the quality of life, economy and politics.

Romania is ranked 49th regarding education, 50th regarding health and 38th regarding the quality of life. The European country comes in 56th position by economic dynamism and is ranked 36th regarding the political environment.

The assessment of the health field takes into account the number of years people live in full health.

The quality of life assessment takes into account issues regarding gender gap, income inequity, homicide, environmental health, employment rate and consumption per capita.

The economic dynamism considers aspect such as the GDP growth rate, the innovation index and the ease of doing business. The political environment assessment considers issues regarding political stability and political participation.

Finland is ranked first in the Newsweek top and is followed by Switzerland and Sweden.
