Romania’s Former President Iliescu Starts Blog

Iliescu already wrote three articles on his blog. "I was president of Romania, I am currently a senator, and starting today, November 12, 2007, I am a blogger."

Iliescu wrote he started this blog to be able to communicate informally, simply and without any limits except those imposed by common sense. He added he has a lot to say.

The head of the Social Democratic Party Mircea Geoana, former social democrat prime minister Adrian Nastase and other social democrat political figures already have blogs.
