Romania’s Hungarian Minority Party Lawmaker Cseke Attila Accepts Health Minister Position

The Romanian Democratic Liberal Party and the Hungarian minority party agreed Friday on a Cabinet list, which is to be validated by the two parties' leadership.

The new Cabinet is made up of 15 ministers, plus the prime minister. UDMR holds three ministries - Health, Culture and Environment - in addition to the position of deputy prime minister.

According to people close to the matter, the draft Government list is as follows: Prime Minister - Emil Boc, Deputy Prime Minister - Marko Bela, Interior - Vasile Blaga, Foreign Affairs - Bogdan Aurescu, Justice- Catalin Predoiu, Economy (and Energy) - Adriean Videanu, Finance - Sebastian Vladescu, Transports - Radu Berceanu, Regional Development and Tourism- Elena Udrea, Education, Youth and Sports - Daniel Funeriu, Health - Cseke Attila, Agriculture - Orest Onofrei, Culture -Kelemen Hunor, Environment - Attila Korody, Defense - Gabriel Oprea, Communications - Gabriel Sandu.
