Romanian Government Gives Emergency Decree For Setting Up Nationwide Mobile Alert System

Internal Affairs Minister Carmen Dan said that the mobile alert system comes in the aftermath of the extreme storms that have recently taken place in the western part of the country and which claimed the lives of eight people. Dan appointed Raed Arafat, head of Emergency Situations Department within the Ministry, as the coordinator for the implementation of the system.
