"It is already an almost working meeting, I believe we need to establish, together, the steps to be taken in the upcoming days or weeks," Johannis said.
"Today I don't think I should hope to obtain anything. I will share the topics of discussion after the talks. I believe politicians should speak together. Today we have a chance to speak," Johannis said.
He added he is working on a government structure and a governing agenda, adding the Senate talks will not involve portfolios or minister nominees.
"I am certainly against fiscal increases. If we should have fiscal relaxation or not, I will say after an analysis of the current situation," Johannis said.
Asked if he still has requests for the coalition, as he did last time, Johannis said this is a new phase, adding he hopes to consolidate this partnership.
Asked if this consolidation would entail a legalized coalition, Johannis said "I don't believe so".
