Santana To Play Romanian Festival B'estfest On July 4

Legendary guitarist Carlos Santana will have a concert in the Romanian capital city of Bucharest on July 4, during this year’s edition of B'estfest festival.

Four over four decades, Carlos Santana successfully avoided getting stuck in a single musical genre, crossed cultural and geographical boundaries and turned his guitar’s passionate load into one of the most musical “signatures” in history.

He became famous in the second half of the '60s, playing with his band, Santana.

In 1969, the band’s fame skyrocketed for their performance at Woodstock, followed by their debut album, "Santana", which topped the Billboard chart for two years.

Forty years and about as many albums later, Santana sells records by the nearly hundred million worldwide, had thousands of live shows for over 100 million fans, ten Grammies and a spot in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (1998).
