Some Scenes Of Brad Pitt-Produced Feature Film ‘Vlad’ To Be Shot In Romania

Some scenes of the feature film ‘Vlad,’ produced by American actor Brad Pitt and Summit Entertainment and which tells the story of Vlad the Impaler, Prince of Wallachia, will be shot in Curtea de Arges, southern Romania, Princess Lia of Romania told MEDIAFAX Friday.

Princess Lia said that, according to the information she has, it is most likely some scenes of the film will be shot in Curtea de Arges, adding costumes will also be manufactured in Romania.

Romanian actors may also star in the film whose production is set to start this fall. The film is a take on Dracula, a character associated with the medieval prince Vlad the Impaler.

Pitt and Dede Gardner will co-produce the film through production house Plan B. The project will be supervised by Erik Feig and Meredith Milton, from the Summit Entertainment studios.
