Traffic Still Closed On Romania’s A2 Highway, Four National Roads

Traffic on Lehliu-Fetesti road section on the A2 Sun Highway, linking Bucharest to southeastern county of Constanta, as well as on four national roads, is still closed following snowstorms, the Infotrafic Center with the Romanian Police Department informed.

Road Traffic Still Closed On Romania’s A2 Highway, National Roads In Four Counties

However, traffic in Romania’s southeastern county of Calarasi, on national roads DN41 Oltenita - Giurgiu and DN31 Calarasi - Oltenita was resumed Friday evening.
Thus, in Constanta County, traffic is still closed on national road DN3C Constanta- Ovidiu road section, while in Romania’s southern county of Giurgiu, traffic on national roads DN41 Daia – Greaca and DN5A Adunatii-Copaceni – Hotarele is also closed.
In Romania’s southern county of Teleorman, snow-removal devices keep operating on national road DN65A Turnu-Magurele – Rosiori de Vede.
 
Police officers recommend that drivers stay away from areas affected by snowstorms, lower the speed, maintain distance between vehicles to avoid collisions and constantly adapt speed to traffic conditions.
