However, the central bank official does not expect a major slowdown in the country’s GDP growth rhythm, considering the presence of all necessary elements and of investments in all economic sectors.

Romania’s real GDP growth in the first six months of 2007 slowed to 5.8% from a hefty 7.4% in the first half of 2006.
