Parliament's members will vote on Iohannis's decree on extending the state of emergency on Thursday

The Parliament has been convened for Thursday to vote on the decree to extend the state of emergency. The vote will be given online.

Senators and deputies will meet on Thursday at 12.00 to vote on the decree issued by president Klaus Iohannis to extend the state of emergency.

As in the last period, the vote will also be online, in order to maintain the social distance imposed by the crisis generated by the new coronavirus.

The leaders of the two chambers of the Legislature have decided that the decree of the head of state will receive Wednesday reports and opinions in the specialized commissions.

President Klaus Iohannis announced on Tuesday that he signed the decree to extend the state of emergency on Romania's territory for another 30 days.
