Christmas Edition Of Proms Of Delight Held In The Honor Of Pavarotti

The Christmas concert that part of the series of concerts Proms of Delight, that is to take place on December 9 at the Romanian Athenaeum in capital city Bucharest will be dedicated to the memory of Italian tenor Luciano Pavarotti, the show’s organizers inform.

Over 100 artists are to take part in the concert.

The special Christmas concert will be given by the Bucharest Symphonic Pops, orchestra formed of musicians from the “George Enescu” Philanthropy, the National Orchestra and the Radio Big Band. Ion Ionescu-Galaţi and Ionel Tudor will be choirmasters.

Created after the concept of the original BBC Proms, the Proms of Delight concerts bring forth important names in the Romanian musical industry and are dedicated to all musical genres.
