Employees Fired From Romanian Prime Minister’s Control Body To Sue Govt
The employees will meet this week to establish the procedure.
“We will all meet to decide the right procedure to sue the Government,” an employee who was fired from the Control Body told MEDIAFAX Wednesday.
The Romanian Government approved a week ago an emergency ordinance reorganizing the Government’s Department of Control into the Control Body. The ordinance stated the personnel will be taken over depending on the number of positions, on their performance and on the prime minister’s confidence in them, and will sign a loyalty commitment.
Employees who do not meet the requirements will be fired, the ordinance stated.
The Secretary General of the Government signed Tuesday orders dismissing employees of the Control Body of the Prime Minister. The document stated they do not meet the requirements of the ordinance’s provisions.
